President Faure Gnassingbe of Togo has been re-elected for a third term in office.
According to BBC, provisional results show that he gained 59% of the vote. AU and ECOWAS election observers said the process was free and fair although the opposition is claiming otherwise.
His main rival, opposition candidate Jean-Pierre Fabre, took 35% of the vote.
Gnassingbe's family has ruled Togo for 48-years.
