Nigerian rising stars have been exceptional both at club side and international matches. They are determined, energetic and strives hard to make their names felt at every tongues.
These players are local based grown and are good at delivery quality goals by projecting the image of their clubs in Nigeria and Africa at large.
They are:
1. Ibrahim Mustapha played for El Kanemi warriors’ football club of Maiduguri in Borno state, the north east region of the country. Ibrahim has been adjudged as a good omen for his club side due to his dazzling and scoring ability. He has helped El Kanemi warriors attain many feat in the Nigerian Premier League side. He just completed his move to Enyimba FC of Aba.
“I will be playing for Enyimba next season. It is a dream come true to have agreed to join one of best clubs in Africa. Aba city is a cool place to play football. I can’t wait to get started here,” Mustapha told Goal.
2. Adamu Mohammed is Kano pillar striker and one of the record breakers of the team when he emerged as top scorer for the club side in 2015. Mohammed is hopeful that Kano Pillars will bounce back from their disappointing league finish next season.
3. Dayo Ojo, was an exceptional Sunshine Stars F.C of Akure player. Dayo is a household name in Akure, the Ondo state capital known for his goals and achievements within few years of joining the club side. Dayo, who also played alongside other teammates for the Nigeria U17 in 2010 and 2012.
Ojo has agreed personal terms with Rivers United and he is expected to shortly sign for ‘The Pride of Rivers’.
His foundation was with Rising Stars F.C before becoming a full blown team mate at the Sunshine Stars F.C in 2010.
Dayo is good, great and dazzles on the pitch which great fans and supporters hope for a bet on their cash.
4. Esosa Igbinoba is a midfielder of the Nasarawa United which he joined in 2014 after he left Lobi stars football club. Igbinoba also played for the Bendel Insurance in 2007 to 2008.
Despite being a midfielder, the rising star keeps scoring goals for his club side.
He was adjudged the AfricanFootball.com Player of Week 35 after he inspired his club to edge past title chasers Wikki Tourists 2-1 at home.
5. Chisom Egbuchulam plays as forward for the Enugu Rangers. He is full of confidence on the pitch of play and little wonders he was adjudged the best player of the month, March, 2016 by the club.
Egbuchulam is every premier league club dream player and they may do anything to get the young rising star to their team sides.
