Euromoney Magazine has named Guaranty Trust Bank 'Best Bank in Nigeria'. The award was given based on GTBank's outstanding performance and ability to build its business around its core strength.
GTBank won the award during the 2015 Euromoney awards held at the Natural History Museum in London. The awards recognize institutions that have demonstrated leadership, innovation and momentum in the markets they operate. It covers more than 20 global product categories in over 100 countries.
Euromoney combines quantitative and qualitative data to arrive at the recipients of the awards. This is to honour institutions that have brought the highest levels of service, innovation, and expertise to their customers.
The Editor, Euromoney magazine, Mr. Clive Horwood noted that the competition for this year award was tough and arguably the toughest since the start of the global financial crisis.
The managing director of GTBank, Mr. Segun Agbaje while receiving the award reportedly said GTBank is humbled and proud to be recognized as the 'Best Bank in Nigeria'.
