Nigeria - Nollywood's veteran actor, Mr. Femi Robinson is dead, aged 74.
He was the second actor to act as the Village Headmaster in the rested classic television programme.
According to one of his children, Wole Robinson, the actor passed away in the early hours of Wednesday at a hospital in Lagos.
“He was a great man. He tried as much as he could to change the world. He had his personal views about life. He was committed to truth and he put his mind and character to pursue his vision and passion.
"He tried as much as possible to change his environment, the entertainment industry, aviation industry, and arts and culture industry. But as God would have it, his death was not good enough. He has been credited for several deeds in broadcasting, arts and aviation. He was an embodiment of ideas.
"Three months ago, he came out of this and thought he would survive it. He was a man that never gave up, but he could not beat this one.”
