Nigeria's Kid Comedienne Emmanuella Samuel, has been nominated among other Nigerians for the prestigious New African Woman awards which takes place at Dakar’s Terrou-Bi Hotel on 13 April.
Some other Nigerians include: Author Chimamanda Adichie, Bella Naija’s Uche Eze, former minister of environment, Amina Mohammed, who is now the Deputy Secretary General at the United Nations, among others in the list below.
The event which is organised by the pan-African bi-monthly, New African Woman magazine, celebrates and honour exceptional African women who have made a positive impact and contributions in their communities, and the continent at large, in the past 12 months.
