Gunmen suspected to be bandits have abducted 23 pupils and the wife of the proprietor of Dahallukitab Group of School in Zariagi, Kogi State. The attack occurred on Sunday night around 10:30 pm as assailants stormed the school premises, which also serves as an orphanage, firing sporadically before whisking the victims away. The Kogi State government confirmed that 15 of the abducted pupils have been rescued through security intervention.
