Senate President, David Mark has refused to support the presidential aspiration of Kano State Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso.
On Thursday, the Kano Governor paid a courtesy visit to Mark at the National Assembly complex to solicit his support for his presidential ambition.
According to NIGERIAN TRIBUNE, openly addressing Kwankwaso during the visit, Mark said, "It is completely impossible for me to support you. Good as your wishes may be, I can’t grant them.
"The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is the correct platform to contest election and I have always advised the senators so.”
"f you don’t make it in your new party, feel free to come back to us, because you have always belonged on this side", Mark added.
