The Minister of Trade and Investment, Dr Olusegun Aganga, has urged Nigerians in Diaspora to key into the Federal Government export programme to boost trade.

Aganga made the call on Friday in London at a meeting of Ministers with the Nigerian Community in the UK.

President Goodluck Jonathan was initially scheduled to meet members of the community on the sideline of the 15th meeting of the Honorary International Investor's Council (HIIC) which held from Nov.20 to Nov.22.

He tasked the community to explore the Nigerian Diaspora Export Programme recently set up by government.

Aganga said that under the programme, made-in-Nigeria products, among others, could be exported to the UK in view of the large market which the over two million Nigerians in that country constitute.

He also stressed the need for professionals to bring home their expertise ``organise yourselves into groups and bring home your skills and expertise’’.

Similarly, the Ministers of Information, Finance, Power, Works and National Planning, briefed on various programmes and policies of government in their various ministries.

In the same development, Dr Dalhatu Tafida, Nigerian High Commissioner to the UK, who coordinated the meeting delivered the community's birthday wishes to President Goodluck Jonathan.

Jonathan, who is in the UK for the HIIC meeting clocked 56 on Nov. 20
