Former political adviser to President #GoodluckJonathan, Alhaji Ahmed #Gulak, has resigned his position his position as national coordinator of #GoodluckSupportGroup (GSG).
According to #NigerianTribune, Gulak tendered his resignation as national coordinator of the group on Friday. His resignation letter titled "Resignation/Disengagement from Goodluck Support Group", was dated 2nd May,2014 and addressed to the deputy national coordinator of the group, Eddy Olafeso.
In the letter, Gulak gave no reason for his resignation, though he urged his deputy to remain steadfast and focused in the mobilization of all for the need to keep supporting the president in what he described as his sincere and committed effort to take the country to an enviable level of development.
In 2011, the #GSG coordinated all campaign efforts that saw to the emergence of Jonathan as president.
