Kogi state Governor, Idris Wada has boasted that he will be re-elected as Governor of Kogi state.
Wada also told newsmen at the PDP National Secretariat after picking his expression of interest and nomination form for the party’s primary, that he was not perturbed that the party refused to give him an automatic ticket; DAILY POST reports.
He said, ''Buhari is now the President by God’s grace. But the election that brought him in also gave him victory in Kogi State. However, I can tell you that during the legislative elections, the PDP won most of the available seats, so I am confident that the coming election will also go our way, by the grace of God.
''You could observe that while President Buhari won the presidential election in Kogi state, PDP clearly won the state assembly positions. That shows that PDP is clearly on ground in the state.
