Evicted BBNaija All Stars contestant, Seyi Awolowo, has issued a heartfelt apology for the misogynistic comment he made during his time in the Big Brother Naija house. Several weeks ago, Seyi had a conversation with his fellow male housemates in which he stated that he would instruct his sons to "run a train" on other people's daughters. The term "run a train" refers to a situation in which multiple men engage in sexual activity with a woman, sometimes without her consent.

His comment sparked outrage among many Nigerians, who condemned the statement as disrespectful and offensive. Big Brother himself addressed the issue, informing Seyi of the inappropriateness of his remark. While still inside the house, Seyi publicly apologized for his words.

Following his eviction from the show, Seyi participated in an interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, during which he became visibly emotional and tearfully expressed his sincere remorse for the comment. In his apology, Seyi extended his regrets to everyone who had been affected by his thoughtless words.
