Wife of the former Ekiti state governor, Mrs Feyisetan Fayose, has predicted that God would return her husband, Chief Ayo Fayose, as governor in this year's governorship election.
She said that God had made it "certain and destined” that her husband would be governor of the state again and that people of the state would be used to perfect the ambition.
She said that Chief Fayose never plunged the state into unnecessary debt burden while he was governor contrary to insinuations in some quarters.
“I am a woman that believes in God. As the Lord lives, I have simply come to announce to you and other doubting ‘Thomases’ of the inevitable return and restoration of my husband, Mr Peter Ayodele Fayose to his seat as the next Governor of Ekiti State.
“By the special grace of God, his return is certain and so destined. I am telling you that nothing can stop it,” she said, adding that though her husband had “fierce outlook”, he had a good heart.
