The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has outlined steps on how to write a good petition to them.
1. Address the petition to the Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission
2. You must include a name, telephone number and address which are necessary in case you need to be contacted
3. Include a title, capturing why you are making the petition
4. Next, include an introduction
5. After the introduction is the body. The body should contain the complaint (s) - facts, documents, sources of information e.t.c after which you add your conclusion.
6. End with your name and signature
If anonymous, a good petition should have a contact number in case some documents need to be verified
