Super Eagles player Osaze Odemwingie is nearing full fitness, making a good recovery from the injury that has sidelined him since September.
Odemwingie tore a ligament in his knee as he tried to control a ball during Stoke City's 1-0 win at the Etihad over Manchester City.
He had surgery on the injury and was ruled out for a very long time, but the player himself has revealed that he is almost there with his fitness as he has now started running.
Prior to Stoke City's game against Chelsea, Odemwingie announced through his official twitter handle that he is on the step up to be fit.
"Big day for me today as I got to the 3 months mark and had my first run on the pitch since the op. Hope our boys make the day even better!" Odemwingie wrote on is twitter page .
