Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, has called on Nigerians to thank God for delivering the country from the hands of Goodluck Jonathan and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP because he nearly destroyed the country.
The governor said Buhari inherited an ailing country from Jonathan on May 29, 2015.
According to him, the kind of underhand dealings that went unperturbed under the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan were more stranger than fiction.
El-Rufai spoke at the opening of a three-day retreat organised for State House correspondents in Kaduna.
The retreat with the theme, “Journalism and the change mantra, State House in focus” is orgnised by the Presidency and is being hosted by the Kaduna State Government.
