Kano State Governor, Dr. Rabiu Kwankwaso and 20 of the 24 House of Representatives members from the state have held a crucial meeting in Abuja, to review the political development in the state in the aftermath of the defection of the governor and others from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
It was learnt that at the meeting, which held behind closed doors on Monday night, the lawmakers, who followed the governor to APC, reaffirmed their support for him, especially in his new position as the leader of the party in the state.
