Ex Kano governor, Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso is planning to dump the APC for the PDP, a chieftain of the PDP in Kano, Alhaji Musa Iliyasu Kwankwaso, has stated.
According to him, Kwankwaso had been contacting the national body of the PDP about his return to the party.
“I heard from reliable sources that the former governor is planning to dump APC for another party before the 2019 general elections and most likely he is coming back to PDP,” he said.
However, the APC state chairman, Alhaji Umar Haruna Doguwa, swiftly dismissed the allegation.
“It is not true. Kwankwaso has no plan to dump APC.”
“It is just mere speculations by some politicians that are envious of his political progress. Similar thing was said of Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the former education minister, Malam Ibrahim Shekarau,” he said.
