The organising secretary of the Kano state chapter of the All Progressive Congress, Suraju Kwankwaso, has debunked the news making rounds in the media. saying Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso of Kano state has defected to People’s Democratic Party.
Suraju, on Tuesday morning affirmed that the Governor remains a member of the APC and has no intention of leaving.
“As I speak to you, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has been and still an authentic member of the All Progressive Party”, he said.
He also noted that the former Kano state Governor would publicly announce his intention if he ever wishes to leave APC for any party at any time just as he did when he left PDP then.
Recall, some media outfits reported yesterday that Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso had left the ruling party alongside some other ten members following his internal crisis with party members.
