According to Nigeria's Chief of Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sadiq Abubakar, the Air Force during a night raid last week killed about 300 Boko Haram terrorists.
He disclosed this while addressing men of the Nigerian Air Force involved in fighting insurgency in the North east on Monday.
He said he was satisfied with what the Air Force is doing, from the briefing he received from the Air component commander.
“Of particular note is the operation you conducted on the 19th of this month, it was a night operation and we were very lucky to deal with these guys (insurgents) who had en-massed and were planning attack .
"We are very happy to note that about 300 of them will not be available to commit evil again,” he said.
