With less than a month to the Presidential primaries of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Imo state Governor, Rochas Okorocha is yet to purchase the party's expression of interest and nomination forms despite the incessant informal declaration of his ambition.
Other than talk tough, the Imo Governor hasn't done anything concrete about his presidential ambition.
Okorocha's body language seems to suggest, that he's not interested in running for President come 2015 but is intent on capitalizing on the publicity for other purposes.
Okorocha is currently the only non-northerner in race for the APC presidential ticket. Many expect the ticket to be given to a northerner. So far, there are indications that Okorocha may be presenting himself as a Presidential aspirant so as to be the popular choice for the Vice Presidential slot.
Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso of Kano state, former Vice president, Atiku Abubakar; former military head of state, Muhammadu Buhari and founder of the LEADERSHIP group, Sam Nda-Isaiah are the contenders for the APC Presidential ticket.
