The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on Thursday, asked the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja to order members of the House of Representatives who defected from the party to the All Progressives Congress (APC) to return to the party.
This was coming two days after the court ordered the PDP and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) not to declare the seats of the defected lawmakers vacant.
In the suit filed on behalf of the party by its counsel, Chief Joe Gadzama (SAN), the party asked the court to declare as null and void, the defection of the lawmakers.
