Emmanuel Onu, a member of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has approached a Federal High Court in Abuja to remove the national chairman of the party, Adamu Mu’azu.
Fresh plot to unseat the national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Adamu Mu’azu began yesterday before a Federal High Court in Abuja as the court was asked to declare Mu’azu’s appointment illegal.
This will be the second suit challenging the appointment of Mu’azu in two months.
Apart from PDP and Muazu, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) was also listed as defendant. Muazu was appointed by the party’s National Executive Committee to succeed Alhaji Bamanga Turkur, who resigned as the national chairman of the party on January 15, 2014.
