Stephen Okechukwu Keshi (23 January 1962 – 7 June 2016) was a Nigerian football defender. He was also a football manager of the Nigerian national team. He was one of only two people, along with Egypt's Mahmoud El-Gohary, to have won the African Cup of Nations as both a player and a coach.

After winning many laurels across various continents as player and coach, he became coach of the Nigerian National Team in 2011. He led Nigeria to qualification for the 2013 African Cup of Nations which they went on to win, defeating Burkina Faso 1–0 in the final.

He died on 7th June 2016 due to heart related diseases.

For his achievements and records both in Nigerian and African football, he has been posthumously voted the Nigerian Bulletin Personality of the Week.

Rest in peace.

To the voters, we say thank you.

See you next week
