A leader of the Yoruba group, Afenifere and a top member of the defunct Action Group, Chief Ayo Adebanjo, has outlined the mistakes Bola Tinubu made when forming alliance with other parties to form the All Progressive Congress.

Speaking in a VANGUARD interview, he says the bed rock of the APC is faulty and weak.

"When people are coming together ,they are doing so for their personal purposes. When they wanted to start this APC, we knew the foundation was not right. We complained about their compatibility. We said they were not compatible. They did not agree with that and continued. On the surface, they appeared compatible but the truth remains they were strange bed fellows.

"Jagaban knows very well the position of the west but he thought that he would be clever enough to use the north to achieve what he wanted. There was no agreement on how the country should be run. He should have settled all these problems of equity and fairness with them before doing business together.

"But they came in with vested interests just to come into power. They did not agree on how to share power and all that. It was not the right thing to do. They are now trying to share power after getting into power. They never agreed on how to share it before getting into power, it is a basic flop in their arrangement. That was the mistake he(Bola Tinubu referred as Jagaban) made.

So what was the mistake Chief Adebanjo made? Pity these so-called, selfish, and ethnocentric elders cannot make conclusions based on sound analysis!

He could be wrong in so many ways! The so-called mistake Tinubu made saved Nigeria from a profligate government for God's sake. Sir, this is just bad belle. Adebanjo has always hated Tinubu's gut since he refused to kow-tow to the Yoruba's old order and irredentism.

APCs foundation is faulty - it was formed based on personal political ambitions with no regard whatsoever for the development of the nation. Tibubu wants to be a Nigerian political god and Buhari, Atiku wants to be president. Others want to gain political positions, mostly for personal gains. It'll be a miracle if they remain standing by 2019
