The Anambra State chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief Chuks Chinwuba, has said that his party would not make any significant impact in the November 16 governorship election in the state.
The APC chairman stated this while speaking with journalists in Awka, yesterday. Chinwuba pointed out that his party was still relatively new in the state and that there was also perception problems as APC was largely seen as a Yoruba party, which he noted would negatively affect the fortune of Dr Chris Ngige, its governorship candidate.
The APC chairman observed that the much expected fireworks in the political arena was kicking off so late because the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, was yet to put its house in order. According to him, the moment the PDP ends its internal squabble, things will pick up and that it would be suicidal for any serious party to under-rate the PDP.
