Politics Another Ambassadorial Nominee, Usman Bugaje Turns Down Buhari’s Offer

Usman Bugaje, an ambassadorial nominee from Kastina State, has rejected his nomination by President Muhammadu Buhari.



This is coming barely three days after Pauline Tallen, former deputy governor of Plateau state, turned down the offer as well.

Unlike Tallen, TheCable reports that Bugaje was prevailed upon by top government officials not to announce his rejection of the offer in the media.

Speaking to state house correspondents after a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday, Simon Lalong, Plateau state governor, commended Tallen for her decision.

Dear Mr. President,

I don't understand this one again o. This makes the second nominee rejecting the offer already. It may add up tomorrow. It appears to me that these appointments are for those that do not want the job. A redirection, please.
