The People's Democratic Party ,PDP Adamawa state chapter has denied allegations of any plot to impeach Governor Murtala Nyako.
The denial was contained in a statement signed by the state chairman of PDP, Chief Joel Madaki.
It said there was no plan by the PDP - led state assembly to impeach Nyako.
"The Peoples Democratic Party has no plan to impeach anybody as alleged", the statement said.
It said the purported plan to impeach Nyako as reported in the media was not true, adding that the APC-led government of the state should be blamed for the rumour.
The statement commended all members of the assembly for resolving to remain in PDP. It also lauded the recent defection of the three APC members in the house to PDP and assured them of equal treatment.
