The Appeal court sitting in Abuja has upheld the election of Delta state governor, Ifeanyi Okowa.
The Nation reports that in his ruling on Thursday, December 24, Justice Uwani Abba-Aji said that the appeal filed by Chief Great Ogboru, the Labour Party’s (LP) governorship candidate in 2015 governorship election in Delta state lacked merit and further upheld the tribunal ruling.
Ogboru was challenging the judgment of the state Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, which affirmed the election of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.
