Sports Flying Eagles coach Manu Garba backs Keshi to succeed at the World Cup

Flying Eagles coach Manu Garba has backed Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi to excel with the Nigerian team at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

Coach Manu is confident that the Super Eagles would do well at the World Cup,and backed Keshi over the decision he made in his choice of players for the tournament.

``It is the coach that knows the type of players he will need for such an assignment" Manu told the News Agency of Nigeria(NAN)

``When he said they are `fighters’, he means that these are players he believes in will do the nation proud,’’ he said.

Speaking on how far he thinks the team might go in Brazil,Garba noted that if they were able to make it through the group stages; they could spring up surprises in the tournament.

``I believe that when they get to the knockout stage, no team is impossible.''
