On Monday, Muazu Ibrahim Aliyu, the son of Kebbi State Deputy Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Aliyu died in a car accident which happened along Jega / Basaura Road.
According to Daily Trust, the accident occurred around 5:35pm as a result of a head on collision.
Mubarak Aliyu who is also the son of a prominent politician in the State, Alh. Ali Bagudo (Jarman Bargu Babba) was also killed in the incident. The third person that was in the vehicle sustained injuries and is receiving treatment at the Federal Medical Center in Birnin Kebbi.
The Deputy Governor's son who was 21 years old at the time of his death, was a student in the Department of Statistics, Kebbi State University of Science and Technology, Aliero while Mubarak Ali Bagudo was a student of Alhikma University, Ilorin, Kwara State.
