Nollywood actress, Ruth Eze has disclosed that her boyfriend dumped her because of star actress, Genevieve Nnaji.
She said she was dumped after an interview of her saying she had a burning and lustful passion for sultry Nollywood star, Genevieve Nnaji. “Only Genevieve Nnaji can make me throw caution to the wind and become a lesbian, but fortunately she is not. I am obsessed with Genevieve. She makes me wet! If she tells me to become her partner today, I’ll apologise to God and jump at the offer'', she allegedly said during the interview.
However, according to DAILY STAR, the actress had come up to say that she was misquoted after the news of her being lesbian made the rounds.
She said, “Genevieve can never make me wet. In fact, I can never be sexually aroused by any woman, whosoever. The reporter that interviewed me took it out of proportion. It’s so embarrassing. My mother, sisters and other concerned members of my family have been on the case. They are so disappointed.”
“I am not a lesbian and I can never be a lesbian. My mother is a devout Christian and she is an evangelist. I can never be a lesbian. I lost a four-year old relationship because of that interview. I never said that; all I said in the interview was that I love Genny very much and I still love her till date.
“I don’t care about what anybody says. I don’t judge anyone whether they are a lesbian or not. It is between you and God because the bible says we should not judge,” she cried out.
“If you are my boyfriend and you cannot stand by me in times of little trouble, what would happen when something big comes? What if it was published later in my career that I was caught in bed with a man and the story turned out to be false eventually? It means he would leave me and my kids when I get married to him. I should not marry someone like that. I have been tagged a controversial actress and you have to stand by me and if you cannot, then you have to go.
“After the lesbianism scandal, he said he was not comfortable with my job, so he dumped me,” Ruth added.
