The Baraje led faction of the Peoples Democratic Party which is also known as New PDP, is all set to open the party’s secretariat. Some members yesterday, went on an inspection of the proposed secretariat building.
Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa State was the head of the inspection team.
According to The Nation, the building is located in the highbrow Maitama District in Abuja and was once occupied by the defunct National Democratic Party (NDP).
Renovation on the building was still on yesterday. Its gate is painted in the PDP signature colours of green, white and red.
The faction had planned to unveil its secretariat yesterday, but could not do so, due to the peace meeting with party elders earlier in the day.
