The committee set up by the state Acting Chief Judge, Justice Ambrose Mammadu, to investigate allegation of gross misconduct against Governor Murtala Nyako of Adamawa state and his Deputy, Bala Ngilari according to #Punch on Friday commenced sittings, dashing hopes that the impasse between the
the #Adamawa State House of Assembly and the governor may not lead to his impeachment and that of his deputy.

The recommendations of the panel will determine the fate of the governor and his deputy.

On Thursday, Nyako had inaugurated administrators for 36 development areas, four permanent secretaries and a special adviser as one of the steps to find a political solution to the crisis in the state and save his job.
