Both Jegede and Ahmed Markarfi are challenging Justice Okon Abang Federal High Court ruling of Oct 14 and judgement of June 29 which ordered the substitution of Jegede’s name as well as gave recognition to Biyi Poroye and others as Ondo state PDP executives.

Meanwhile the embattled candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Jimoh Ibrahim, has expressed confidence that his name will remain on the ballot as the candidate of the party.
