Abduljhalil Tafawa-Balewa, son of Nigeria’s former Prime Minister Tafawa Balewa has denied pulling out of the 2015 presidential race.
Ijaw chieftain,Edwin Clark had last week announced that Balewa was pulling out of the presidential race.
Speaking with CHANNELS TV, Balewa who is billed to contest on the platform of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party,PDP said, "I intend to run for the presidency of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the PDP is supposed to be the largest party in Africa, a party that will teach others what to do in the country, Africa and other parts of the world".
"We cannot be called a third world country and behave the same way all the time, I am glad that there are some people that want to change the system".
Meanwhile, Balewa is yet to release the date and for his official declaration.
