The leadership crisis in the Benue state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has gotten a new twist as a fresh faction of the party now known as ''new APC'' emerged yesterday with the Chairman of Conference of Nigerian Political Parties (CNPP) in the state, Baba Agan claiming its leadership.
Announcing the emergence of the new faction, Agan said,"What you see happening in the Benue state chapter of the APC today is a direct fallout of an era of impunity and disconnect between leading members of the party and the Senate Minority Leader.
Meanwhile, the 'old' APC in Benue state has denied the existence of any faction.
