America's Allyson Felix claimed victory in the race with a world lead of 22.02seconds,beating all comers to win the race.
Coming into the race the build-up was centered on both Felix and Okagbare,as the A-list athlete to look forward to in the event,and Felix did not disappoint,coming up with goods to win the race.
Okagbare fell short,finishing in a distant sixth position with a time of 22.60seconds.
French athlete Myriam Soumare placed second in the race,posting a personal best of 22.11seconds,while Dafne Schippers placed third with 22.30 seconds.
Coming into the race with 11 Diamond points,Okagbare was aiming to finish the season on a high,with a personal and season best of 22.23 seconds,but it looked that her achievements this year has had a toll on her.
Meanwhile,Justin Gatlin set the fastest time of the year after clinching the men’s 100m with a time of 9.77seconds,beating Michael Rodgers and Asafa Powell to second and third positions respectively.
He equally claimed victory in the Men's 200m event,finishing the race with a time of 19.71seconds.
Femi Ogunode finished second with a time of 20.15seconds while Alonso Edward came in third with 20.26secs.
