The Enugu State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has vowed to resist alleged plan by former Governor of the state, Dr. Chimaroke Nnamani to return to the party.
The party said the move by Nnamani, a member of the opposition Peoples Democratic Congress, PDC, to rejoin the PDP is a dramatic move that will never see the light of the day.
The State Chapter of the Party was reacting to news report that the Deputy President of the Senate Ike Ekweremadu, was allegedly locked in a marathon meeting with former Governor Nnamani, ostensibly to distill the former governor’s grievances and conditions for reuniting with the PDP.
