Regional West African forces will wait for talks between Yahya Jammeh and the Mauritanian and Guinean presidents to take place before resuming their military operation.
The two presidents are expected to persuade Yahya Jammeh to leave the country with them and seek asylum. If he refuses the regional force will step in.
