Rivers state Governor, Nyesom Wike has one after the other lashed out at leaders and governors of the All Progressives Congress over their comments during the party’s campaign at the Liberation stadium in Port Harcourt. Wike accused the nine governors that graced the final mega rally of gross imcompetence.
The rally was organized by the Rivers state Legislative Re-run Committee led by Kano state Governor Abdulaziz Ganduje.
The Governors that graced the occasion include: Bauchi, Benue, Plateau, Sokoto, Ogun, Edo and Ondo states as well as the National Chairman of the Party, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun and other leaders of the APC.
Menanwhile, Govermor Wike who spoke during a PDP campaign in Obio-Akpor said many of the Governors were yet to correct the anomalies in their various states.
Governor Wike, however, warned that there will be grave consequences for anyone who tried to rig the election in Rivers state.
“If you watch those that came to support them at their empty rally at the stadium, you will be ashamed.
“One of the Governors, Abubakar from Bauchi said they should take away the state from rogues. I don’t blame him.
“Recently, he wrote me a letter that Amaechi awarded a contract to him and he is yet to ‘balance him’. Let him come and collect the money from the rogues. What does this tell you? This was how they shared our money. What will a man who cannot pay salaries come and tell us in Rivers state.
“Then you look at the Governor of Benue state. You all heard what he said. In his state, he is owing workers more than one year salary. Somebody that does not know what to do about herdsmen killing his people. What is he coming here to tell us?
“Then Kano state Governor. How can a hundred-year-old man be Governor? In Last year’s election, the INEC REC was killed in Kano and up till now he has not found out what killed the man.
“Look at Edo state Governor. The one that just won election. He doesn’t know his left from his right. He doesn’t even know where his documents are.
“They think Rivers state is Ondo or Edo state, they shouldn’t worry. They will see what will happen to them on Saturday.
“They are lucky they have all left; they would have used their head to rig this election. They think they have two heads. We will all meet on Saturday.”
