President Muhammadu Buhari shocked some Nigerians on Wednesday afternoon when he finally assigned portfolios to the confirmed Ministers of the Federal Republic.

This happened at the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa in Abuja during the inauguration of the Federal Executive Council, FEC. The President however announced himself as the substantive Minister of Petroleum Resources.

Below are some of the newly sworn-in Ministers and the portfolios they got:

Lai Mohammed Minister for Information and Orientation

Chris Ngige - Labour and Employment

Kemi Adeosun - Finance

Adewole Isaac - Health

Aisha Abubakar - Women Affairs

Mohammed Bello - FCT

Amaechi Rotimi - Transportation

Audu Ogbeh - Agriculture and Rural Development

Kayode Fayemi – Solid Minerals

Ogbonnaya Onu – Science and Technology

Dalong – Youth and Sports

Adamu Adamu - Education

Abdulrahman Dambazzau- Interior Minister

Shittu Adebayo - Communication

Abubakar Malami- Minister of Justice

Senator Udo Udoma - Minister For Budget and National Planning

Pastor Usani Uguru - Minister of Niger Delta

Mohammed Dan Ali- Minister of Defence
