Ojo Maduekwe, former Minister of Foreign Affairs and former Minister of Transportation died on Wednesday June 29, 2016 at age 71.

Madueke would be remembered by many as the man who tried to popularise the use of bicycle as a means of transportation in the city.

This made people to refer to him as "Ojo oni keke”, which means Ojo, the bicycle man.
