Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has accused four All Progressives Congress, APC governors for sponsoring violence in the state during the rivers rerun polls.
The governors he mentioned include; the governor of Bauchi, Benue, Kano and Plateau states, conniving with the politicians of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state to unleash violence on the people of the state.
Wike, who made the allegation in a broadcast on Wednesday, also accused the governors of the four states of contributing N1 billion each for the leadership of the APC in Rivers State for the conduct of the rerun polls.
Wike said that “the brazen subversion of our democratic rights” was carefully planned by the APC which brazenly used Federal might to ensure the return of APC candidates at all cost.
